In cooperation with a large local car manufacturer, Philip Henzler developed a software for the iPad to track test drives. The car manufacturer currently works on paper basis and it takes quite long for the test drivers to get their results statistically analyzed as the information need to be manually transferred to a computer based system. Each test drive contains hundreds of test steps.

The software was developed for a Windows 7 tablet PC first. Performance problems on Windows convinced the company to use iPads instead.

Thus a second version for the iPad was developed which works very well. The project was realized in the course of a semester project in the winter term 2011/12.
