Business data is valuable. Hence it is essential to control who has access to this data. Furthermore the current development of business application and its use is going more and more the mobile direction. This paper provides at first a basic understanding of cryptography and authentication. In cooperation with Martina Müller and based on her “Analysis and Conceptual Design of Mobile Authentication Methods and their Evaluation for Developing Convenient Authentication Prototypes”2 the best rated methods for mobile authentication will be selected. Furthermore in this paper, these methods will be inves- tigated in a more technical manner and implemented as prototypes. The investigation covers the analyzation of different authentication frameworks, implementation methods and possible problems.
